Why should I clean my sex toys?
Using unclean sex toys can potentially introduce unwanted bacteria or other pathogens like fungi into sensitive areas. This can lead to the overgrowth of bacteria known as bacterial vaginosis or cause a urinary tract infection. It is especially important to thoroughly clean toys that are used by multiple partners.
When should I clean my sex toys?
To maintain a healthy lifestyle it’s advised to clean them before AND after every use. I know that sounds like a mood killer and no body wants to pause the moment to start washing toys. That’s why we recommend cleaning them properly before storing them in a clean, dry environment like a drawer or cabinet. Hiding them under the bed is convenient, but not the best idea when it comes to hygiene.
What should I use?
We supply a cleaning solution that is not only skin safe and antibacterial, but works with any silicone based toy. It even cleans out resin restraints too! Place the items in the sink, then just add 2 or 3 pumps onto a wet sponge or cloth and squeeze to activate the foam! Scrub until clean. Then rinse thoroughly with warm water before drying them with a clean, lint free towel or disposable kitchen roll.
Not recommended for use on electrical toys that are not waterproof.
